- three Italian collar models, characterized by the length of the sails or points and by the presence of one or two closure buttons
- four French collar models, characterized by different opening or sails distances
- one or two buttons button-down collars, suggested for a sporty cut, originated by the English Polo Sport: the sails, linked to the tunic thanks to little buttons avoid inconvenience to the riders
- diplomatic or smoking collar, characterized by the two little sails turned up and ahead, suggested for those who loves wearing papillon
- Corean collar, with or without closure buttons
